Censorship, Society Report

β€œThe basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who use the words.” – Philip K. Dick

We now find ourselves living in an age of politically correct censorship where the definition of “fiction” has been lost to the ideology that only certain people may say or write about certain things and in a certain way, so the fiction may be as “authentic” as non-fiction rewritten as propaganda.

Intellectualism (rationalism, logic) is being phased out in exchange for personal affrontedness. While manners, decency, and respect for self and others, are being exchanged for “F-you, I can say and do whatever I want.”

I sit as yet another human who is a fragment of the fray, and as a detached observer watching society play around with the potential elements of its own demise on a precipice it does not see.
