This video was filmed on the campus of Pasadena City College. How does any student in the United States get into college without having the basic knowledge that those men were mass-murdering communist dictators? How? Every teacher those students ever had should be ashamed of themselves.
I see these “person on the street” interviews, and I’m continuously stunned at the level of ignorance that seems to have permeated our culture. But, not only that, they’ve almost made it seem like that’s the way to be, as if it is somehow dumb … to be smart. There was a time, not long ago, when people would have been embarrassed to be seen as so ignorant. It breaks my heart to know that there are so many that are so unaware and uneducated as to the truth and reality of the history of these destructive, freedom-annihilating ideas.
As for my generation, I think we may have erroneously assumed that, because we were taught basic U.S. History, and basic World History, that our children’s generation was also being taught these things. Why wouldn’t you teach these kids the truth about so-called socialism and communism?
It’s frightening that a generation hasn’t been taught history, and there are those who are counting on that ignorance, as the way that such things happen again is that people forget, or don’t know, how they happened before.
The way that changes is that we begin educating people again and encouraging self-education, particularly as to these histories.
It’s cool to be smart.
