To Thine Own Self, Be True

“To thine own self, be true.” Polonious, in Hamlet by William Shakespeare

  1. Be true to yourself
  2. Never tell everything you know.

My “heroes” have often been those who had the wherewithal to stay true to themselves regardless. They’ve also been people who got up and went on even if things were tough, or after a bad fall, proverbial, metaphorical, or otherwise. People with backbone, intestinal fortitude, the willingness to go their own way. Approve of yourself, that’s the important thing.
